The Callister Trust is a 100 year old volunteer run charity originally set up for the welfare of girls and young women in Birkenhead.

 

Callister Garden on Slatey Road, Birkenhead provides a tranquil escape for community groups and charitable organisations to meet; with lawns, forest school areas, growing beds and more. Our new pavilion, which seats up to 32 people in a warm room with great views of the garden, means activities can take place whatever the weather whilst remaining close to nature.

We welcome enquiries from new garden volunteers and those wishing to deliver activities of benefit to the wider community.

 

The garden is open for the general public to come in and enjoy the space during our weekly volunteer sessions Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am-12pm.
